Unnecessary glasses.
So you might be familiar with this type of glasses. Rather, you're familiar with this type of glasses, right? Glasses that don't do anything. Yeah? I mean, nothing for reading, UV protection, or anything like that. Pure accessory.
Why do people use it? Because it's hipster? Mmm...
I mean when you look at it, it doesn't seem to be a little bit useful, is it? Probably. It depends. The thing about it is it at least serves as a barrier between the sun and our eyes. But it still depends. What if the material used to build that glasses actually invites UV rays or stuff? You'll never know. People don't usually put ingredients or materials on eyeglasses do they?
I don't mean to offend the brand of these glasses above (coincidence) or any other brand that's out in the market but I'm kind of concerned on the people using it. Yes, it's fashionable. But sometimes, it doesn't really go well with just anything. Sometimes it even looks funny. I don't know if it's just me but yeah.
This type of glasses does look good on some people though. Like, it enhances their features and stuff. Which is cool. But some others, I don't know.

Stilettos!
How many of you are a fan of stilettos? Personally, I find it hard to balance and all that. But I sure find it attractive. I just don't like wearing it as much as I'd like to wear pumps or other more comfortable shoes. It's sexy, yes! But if you're not comfortable wearing it, it will just make you look funny. Plus! It's probably gonna hurt. So if you dare wearing this kind of stuff, make sure you're ready to ROCK IT.

Elie Saab Fall 2011 RTW.
I came across this picture not so awhile ago. Isn't it gorgeous? If anyone would walk in front of me with that dress on, oh girl! I mean, just girls! LOL it would be funny to see a guy walk with that on. Isn't it so classy? It's really nice and all that! I want to wear something alike on a formal occasion or maybe just any happenings that will require such style or aura or theme.

Short shorts.
It's getting hotter almost everywhere. Except probably Australia. But point is, since it's getting hotter, we tend to wear lesser the usual. Most often that not, that includes wearing shorts. Wearing shorts is alright. But how short can one wear a shorts without looking so revealing and flaunting to the eyes of others? Scratch that! How short can a shorts can be for you not look like you're trying too hard?
There are different lengths of shorts. You just have to find out what fits you. Is it just me that's annoyed when girls wear short shorts and kind of pull it down all the time to cover up thigh fats and stuff? It's really annoying! They have an option to wear longer shorts and what did they do? Wore something short and tries to pull it down all the time? What? get you shhh together, will you?

Lo~ng lashes.
Until how long is long lashes for it to be just long enough? There's no denying that we all would die to have longer lashes than we already have now. Maybe not die.
I know that some people have longer lashes than others but it doesn't matter. People with longer lashes still want longer lashes. Except guys, I guess. What more girls with not so long lashes? Or girls with barely any lashes on? I can't help but imagine how they want it done all the time. I'm not saying all. I know there are people who are contented with what they have but this post is for girls who kind of want to modify stuff. And there's nothing wrong with that either.
Do you wonder why false eyelashes or falsies are so popular in South East Asia? It's because more often than not, Asian girls have shorter and sparser lashes. But it's also popular abroad and that's why I concluded that in general, people want longer lashes.
But look at the picture. Is that what you want? That long? I'm just saying that whatever you have, may be enough already. Yes, you can modify it to a certain extent. But you should modify it in a very reasonable way. This might not how your lashes look like to you but this might how it looks to the others. And for me, it's not very attractive. It may be on a costume party though.
Imagine if this is how lashes looks like. Would people cut it to be fashionable or would people rock it this way?

Classy hair.
What I like about this hair style is looks really simple in a very complicated way. It doesn't look like so hard to do but I bet it is. It's like placing rollers and applying the right amount of heat and all that other complicated stuff. I think this hair style looks so classy when attending formal parties and events. It's definitely stand out. Make sure to pair it with classy dress and earrings as seen in the picture.
It reminds me a little bit of Katy Perry's hairstyle on her music video "THINKING OF YOU" It's probably the curls that made me so.

How to shape your eyebrows.
Shaping your eyebrows can be the most crucial part of a make up routine. First of all, if your hands are not so stable, it can ruin everything.
And who has time to go to the salon all the time to wax or thread it?
As you can see from the picture below, with enough concentration and trust, you can achieve a perfectly arched brows yourself. It can also save you time and money.
But make sure you're sure what you're doing. Back in high school, I actually tried to shave the extra hair brows that aren't in place and what happened was I shaved the middle part of my brows and that experience was just so horrifying. I had to apply eyebrow pencil on that shaved part and sometimes, even a PERMANENT BOARD MARKER. Just to save myself from trouble. My classmates kind of noticed it and what can I do? I didn't have this picture back then.

Glowing nails.
I actually have seen this nail polish a long time ago. I have not seen them on real life though. I am a big fan of nail polishes and I used to own a lot of them. But nail polishes come and go so I do not know where they are now.
I was literally amazed by this. On a natural lighting though, I wonder how they look like. Do they look some kind of the typical green glow in the dark toys or do you have an option to have the typical nail polish look during the day. Because I would not want my nail polish to be as ugly as that glow in the dark stuff. But whatever.
Or maybe! Seeing from the picture, it actually looks like it is some sort of a transparent stuff. I just do not know if it is the same when applied.
Would I rock it? Yes. I think it is cool. I am just a little bit worried on how it would look during the day, but, night wise, amazing.
Have you tried it? Thoughts?

Nude-oh-lips.
It's exactly the lip colour my mom wouldn't wear. 'DEAD LIPS' is how she'd describe it. Like, seriously. When I tell her that it's the hype and everyone's kind of pulling off that look, she'd be like, "even if you pay me, I wouldn't wear that" LOL.
As for me, I don't really own a super nude lipstick or anything, but I have something close. Do I like it? Somehow. Does it look good on me, NO. LOL. Seriously, I look like a dead something-something. I like how it changes my aura though. But I reckon I haven't found the right nude lipstick for me.
Let's get straight to why it probably doesn't good look on me.
1. I have a yellow undertone leaning towards pale-ish.
2. I have a naturally pinkish lips leaning towards coral-ish.
3. My lips are not very full.
4. It's just weird seeing myself without any color on my lips.
5. It's just probably me. (and mom)
Would you rock it? Thoughts?

Cigar for fashion?
I CANNOT comprehend when this started. Or who started it. Does it look appealing? NO. NOT TO ME. And it doesn't really make sense. Why does it have to be part of a fashion photo or whatever photo. Anything for fashion, as they say. It really does fit the aura of the photo but really? Is it really necessary? Wouldn't it be nicer if they would just let their model hold it and make the photo appear that "she is about to smoke" shot? I actually think it's better that way.
I don't want to assume that this lady or any models in that sense don't smoke so it's not about I'm gonna be a health doctor here. But I'm just saying. I'm probably just bothered by it because I'm thinking of those models who doesn't smoke in real life. Thinking about it, if someone smokes in real life, then instructed to smoke for a photo, SO WHAT? Right? Unless I'm around them and I can breathe the second hand smoke of their cigar. But that's another story. It's not like I can breathe in the second smoke from their photo, right?

Crazy eyes.
OMG! Like, is this for real? Well of course it is. Looking at it though, isn't it a waste of eye shadow when you can only see it's full effect while your eyes are closed like that? What will you do? Pretend that you're texting or whatever so that you can show off? I know people don't put make-up to show off but to feel good about themselves and stuff. But let's just be real for a second okay? Okay.
Also! After being awed for a while, I realized that not all people can pull off this look. I myself can't. I have a very weird unparalleled double eyelid eyes and yeah, the eyeshadow would probably accumulate on my lids and probably just appear as an eyeliner sort-of when I pull off this look. My double lids are also very close to me eyebrows so there's not much space to canvass this painting.
I also noticed that the combination is great because the eyeshadow used to highlight the color used on the lids is the same color as her eyes. To be more realistic, not all people have the same eye color than hers so does it mean we have to pick another color or what? Well, maybe it will look good on everyone too. I'm just not so sure about that. Or maybe the falsies will do the trick. Just maybe though.
I also find it weird that her falsies are darker than her brows. I mean, it's good of course but wouldn't it be nicer if they somehow match? Or is it just me?
All in all though, I kind of like this look. Definitely looks hot and all that.

Alice by Temperley. Resort 2013 review.
I personally think that Alice by Temperley's collection is gorgeous! I just think that the other collections are kind of off for the season. I will discuss that in my other post though. I don't know how they categorize stuff but I'm sure Alice by Temperley's designs are not the most RESORT-IEST collection that there is. Thinking about resort, I would probably assume that there should be BIKINIS and stuff but I don't know how that works. Na-ah.
Let me just start with my favourite collection! I really think that this dress is gorgeous! I don't personally play much with colors. I like simple colored dress. Beige, white, brown, pink, and black will do. Although a little bit of combination is good sometimes. I don't understand the shoes though. But anyways I absolutely adore the color combination of the dress and the little detail the skirt gives. And I also love love love the belt! Awesome! I noticed though that the upper part of the dress appears kind of leathery so I'm not so sure if that'll be very comfortable to wear. And since I also presumed that RESORT is kind of for SUMMER WEAR and stuff. But anyways.
When I first saw the picture above, I totally kind of fell in love with it. Not literally though. But thinking about it, if ever I'd go out with this, my mom will go totally nuts about it. Like, serious stuff. But I love the LACEY-NESS of it. Just because I just watched Michelle Phan's latest WANDERLUST episode and it's about the Italian women having to spend 4 months or so creating lace and stuff. Awesomeness! :) But I actually doubt that the lace they used here is handmade. I STILL DON'T GET THE SHOES BY THE WAY.
For me, this one right here is so classy-I-could-die. Not the typical classy-classy look of course. It's simple but classy. Don't get me wrong though, I know that these designers' made it to this some sort of collection because they're somehow classy but there are just some designs which I can't understand at all. So yeah, for me, classy doesn't have to be really expensive and stuff but yeah, just saying.
This lacey-ness goodness right here. I would seriously totally wear this. Love the design and everything. This dress will totally look good on a polka dot heels or flats or whatever it is that's with polka dots in it. Ok maybe not just whatever. Let's stick with flats and heels. And probably just black and white.
All in all, I really like the collection. But you know, there's always an exception. In this case, maybe 3 which I can't really understand the coherence between the designs. Let's say for example:
I have come by to it that fashion is really something relative and subjective. You might not agree with me not liking the design above, but it's okay. I respect your opinion on that. My mom would probably like that too. And I absolutely have NO right to question my mom's choice. UNLESS ASKED FOR AN OPINION of course. LOL.
I also don't understand the hat. It looks like an inverted bowl to me. Seriously.
Oh guess what? Putting it in another color does help. I kind of like this one better than the RED ONE above. It looks more normal in a sense. Heard of the saying "if a pair of shoes looks good on you, get one in every color." NOPE. Definitely not applicable for every fabric/whatever/anything that exists in different colors. I WARNED YOU people.
I like the bell bottom effect of the pants. Although the fabric on the leg part could have been more tighter for more pleasant appearance but yeah, awesome enough. I also love the details. Simple but actually nice. I wonder though. Like, if I decided (which of course I will) not wear the shoes like that on the pictures, will I have to alter to fit? WHY OF COURSE. Thanks for answering (self).
